Strut Your Mutt - 2012

Wow Buddy, wasn't it nice to join our 2 legged Parents and Friends of & from Canines With A Cause (CWAC) on the Strut Your Mutt walk to help raise money to fund lifesaving adoption programs and spay/neuter services, to ultimately impact the number of pets entering and leaving the shelters.

And CWAC mission is to rescue, train and place shelter dogs with people in need of the unconditional love and companionship that only a dog can provide.  Most of the participants in the program are local veterans returning from their final tour of duty transitioning back to civilian and family life, dealing with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).  All of the dogs in our program are from shelters, most of them high kill.  We place the dogs free of charge and do not have a fee for their training, we also have veterans training dogs for others as a form of therapy.
